DMC USA FINALS 2017

While this story doesn't have much to do with Drum N Bass (although DNB does tend to be the electronic genre of choice for turntablists), it is worth a mention. Anyone has been paying attention to the artform watched DJ Perly break down barriers becoming the first female to become a regional champion and vice national champion in DMC. TurntableLab also chose to use her (longside Dwells) as part of their promotion for the PT01 scratch. (Video Below) This year she went on to take the USA National title and now prepares to face off against the best in the world at the DMC World Championships in London.

Coming in second was DWells. This powerhouse on the turntables has become known for his very complex and highly engaging routines. While he may have taken second place in the main event, the title of US Supremacy (Head to Head Battle) Champion was won.

We can see why these two not only reigned at the competition, but have been getting noticed in the worldwide community. Do not worry. We have not forgot about everyone else who placed in the competition.
